It's my confirmation name, given to me by my Papi, who meant the absolute world to me and who is a big part of why photography means so much to me at all. Photography has always been my way of holding onto the good stuff. That's why my business name carries a small piece of someone I love, and a big part of why I do what I do, which is creating photographs that bring you right back to exactly how a moment felt.

I want my clients to walk away seeing their own lives a little differently. A lot of the time we're so busy living through a milestone that we don't stop to notice how beautiful it actually is, and my job is to catch that beauty and hand it back. The real moment that gets me every time is when someone looks at their gallery, spots a candid they didn't even know happened, and suddenly remembers exactly how it felt.

If I had to sum myself up in a few sentences, I'd say this. I'm an introverted extrovert, a total empath, a coffee enthusiast, a top down road trip lover, and a professional goofball who loves exploring, laughing, and making people feel comfortable. I'm a hopeless traveler. I'm usually plotting the next trip before the last one's even unpacked.
I want my clients to feel like friends. By the end of our time together, they usually do.
I'm the biggest hype girl you'll ever hire. No real competition there.
My favorite item I own is my Nikon L35 film camera. It feels ridiculously nostalgic every time I pick it up.
I have a six year old husky named Mika. She's fully earned muse status at this point.
My weekends usually land somewhere between a wedding, my garden, or an adventure with my dog and my husband.

The love between you and the people around you is really the whole point. Whether that's a partner, a parent, a child, or a friend, I want that connection to come through clearly in every frame, not just implied by the setting.

So much of this work is handing someone a version of themselves they don't usually get to see from the outside, and feeling like you truly belong in your own photos matters more to me than any technically perfect shot.

I'd rather capture something real and a little imperfect than something staged and hollow. A photo is only as good as the feeling it hands back to you, and that feeling comes from being fully present in the moment, not from posing your way through it.
